Kalibrr Featured at CESB’s Public Leaders’ Summit

Kalibrr Co-Founder and CEO Paul Rivera shares his insights and ideas about connecting the next generation of leaders at the Career Service Executive Board’s first public leaders summit

Last May 29 and 30, the Career Service Executive Board held its first Public Leaders Summit at the Summit Galleria Cebu Hotel in Cebu City. Themed “Are You Game for Change?: Innovation, Inclusion, Inspiration”, the event featured leaders, advocates, and executives specializing in various disciplines and from different industries with game-changing programs and ideas that served as “lessons and sources of inspiration.”

Among those invited to share their insights was Kalibrr Co-Founder and CEO Paul Rivera. Given that change is imperative for social transformation, and now is the best time as any to discuss public service innovation, Rivera talked about connecting the next generation of leaders. He specifically touched on how continuing to genuinely care about what matters to them is the best way to reach out and make the most of their potential, and have them ready to lead the country into the future.

“Because you care, you prioritize education that prepares young people for the future. Because you care, you prioritize employment that provides people the opportunity to enter the middle class. You create and implement the policies that support entrepreneurship. Because you care, you protect and educate people about the environment, a source of employment and entrepreneurship.”

Rivera proceeded to discuss how technology can help, in both the upskilling and providing opportunities to future leaders, and that leveraging this is paramount for the overall success of not only enterprise or industry but also of the government and other public organizations.
