Security Operations Specialist  

Overview:

• The Security Operations Specialist will develop. deploy and support infrastructures, applications, software solutions and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective in conjunction with existing standards and methods of delivery. Support technical escalation of L2 for problem resolution and apply deep knowledge of industry standards and vendor certifications.

Some of the key roles of the job include:

• Responsible for protecting corporate network-based information assets from intentional or accidental destruction or modification while minimizing the impact upon those who need legitimate access to the computer and communications systems and data.
• Management of day-to-day security operations
• Oversight of security infrastructure such as VPN Concentrators, firewalls,
• Anti-virus software, related servers, and related applications.
• Investigate and advise on the latest security-related vulnerabilities to ensure infrastructure's security posture is strong
• Confirm that monitoring and response activities are completed for security violations and attacks through incidents response tracking
• Ensure configurations for servers, laptops, and desktop as well as other equipment which are deployed throughout the corporate domain

We're looking for an experienced professional with the following skill set:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security or other related fields
• Experience in Firewalls, Windows Servers, Intrusion Detection systems, Virus
• Protection Software, Secure communications and internet/intranet security
• Problem Solving & Escalation Management
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
