Job Description
Turning and Milling
- Verifies and calibrates measuring instruments.
- Reads and interprets working drawings.
- Performs inspection on work piece prior to machining and/or milling works.
- Performs machining and/or milling works based on assigned work order.
- Performs inspections on finished item/s and accomplish inspection reports as needed.
Other Related Tasks
- Complies with company policies and procedures, safety rules, and practices.
- Conforms to the company’s Integrated Management Systems, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Reports any Integrated Management System events/incidents or potential events or other risks to the organization.
- Protects information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference by:
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all data, information, and other matters which are private, sensitive or confidential in nature or the exposure of which to other employees, persons, entities or organizations constitutes conflict of interest with and/or poses liability or damage to the Company.
- Performs any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior consistent with the purpose of this role.
Minimum Qualifications
Will be responsible for setting-up and operating lathe machine, milling, radial drill and grinders; assembling or repairing parts and tools and fitting of assembled parts of mechanisms applying knowledge of mechanics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for performing bench and floor work including laying-out, fitting and assembling of machine parts, overhauling and repairing of machinery.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Graduate of Technical/ Vocational Course
- Must be a holder of TESDA National Certificate (NC) II in Machining
- Must be familiar with different Machine Shop equipment and related measuring equipment.
