Information Technology Support Supervisor | For Benguet  

Will be responsible for supervising the proper maintenance of desktops and laptops, printers, and other information processing facilities that are in the care of employees and departments. The incumbent is also responsible for providing support to the Network and Systems Administrator for activities that require a physical interface to machines only if they are not able to physically interface with the devices like in the case of remote physical access.

• Responsible for recording, documenting, supporting, and resolving trouble tickets arising from customers.
• Performs and discharges administrative functions to desktops, laptops, printers and other information processing facilities that are being used by employees to ensure good working conditions and minimize downtime of equipment.
• Ensures the security, integrity, and confidentiality of data stored in the laptops, desktops, and other information processing facilities capable of storing information as identified in risk treatment plans.
• Responsible for compliance with the Aboitiz Group PSPG on use of emails, and Anti-Virus programs.
• Performs and discharges Administrator functions and ensures compliance as mandated by the Aboitiz Group WSUS/Patch Management programs for all the laptops and desktops used by employees.
• Responsible for developing strategies to ensure high availability of equipment for customers through preventive maintenance and other means to serve the purpose.
• Approves for burn-in and acceptance of newly acquired equipment and devices.
• Prepares and recommends cost-effective upgrades, and other solutions for inclusion to IT OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
• Satisfies internal customers with IT-related problems and queries via the IT HelpDesk.
• Supports the Network and Systems Administrators for activities that require a physical interface from remote sites that cannot possibly be reached by the administrators at that time.
• Recommends non-performing IT assets for write-off and/or proper disposal.
• Responsible for the professional well-being of IT Support Engineers.
• Conduct regular Performance Appraisals of IT Support Engineers.
• Submits a monthly status report related to the overall health of laptops, desktops, software, licenses, and inventory of active and inactive information processing facilities under his jurisdiction.

• Must be a Bachelor's degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• With extensive knowledge and background in various aspects of Information Technology (Systems Administration, Network Administration, Database Management, Web Development)
• With extensive background and experience in IT Support
• With knowledge of Information Security Management System
• Preferably a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)
• With at least two (2) years of leadership experience
• With at least five (5) years of relevant experience in Information Technology
