Job Description

Job Summary

The Team Lead for Creative Content is responsible for overall web content management. He/She also has oversight on creative copy and audio-video scripts across designated digital platforms and makes sure these conform to set publishing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Head of Digital to conceptualize and execute digital content for Star Cinema online assets with special attention to the Star Cinema website and promotions of its digital initiatives on online platforms.
  • In-charge of the digital operations of the Star Cinema website and other related online assets and ensures that all website properties conform to publishing standards
  • Oversee and manage the website editorial team; conducts regular meetings to keep the team members updated on trends, directions and goals. Lead brainstorm sessions and daily story conferences for the website.
  • Provide a monthly content plan that can synergize with other digital assets.
  • Create and manage story ideas and daily content lineup, considering reader and audience appeal.
  • Delegates assignments and ensures that all content deliverables are completed and uploaded on time.
  • Revise and proofread all articles and content for publishing (including audio-video scripts and creative copy across assigned platforms) and makes sure that all published content is of high-quality and free of errors.
  • Maintains a consistent look, feel and brand voice in all copy and scripts published across digital properties.
  • Ensure that all articles and text output in the website are grammatically-sound, SEO-friendly, accurately tagged and has undergone fact-checks.
  • Ideate and execute branded executions that are copy-based across Star Cinema platforms.
  • If need be, write special articles.
  • Train junior writers.
  • Ensure all CMS needs of online writers and digital promo team are serviced.
  • Keep track of monthly readership and revenue targets and work towards reaching these targets thru a strategic and viable content/promo plan
  • Actively coordinate with DMD for web support and other technical concerns (e.g. unusual site activities, bugs, website and publishing errors)
  • Work as liaison between Digital Media team and internal networks for collaboration content, partnership and featured event/coverage content appearing on Star Cinema assets
  • Keep abreast with digital trends across all local and global players

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts, Journalism, Multimedia Arts, or other related courses
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced writing and copy-editing skills
  • Highly creative, dedicated, and passionate
