Job Description

  • Over-all learning and development and performance consulting for the assigned LOB/ business/ support – specifically the design of 70-20-10 learning programs, research on new learning trends, needs and requirements of the stakeholders and how the University can support them, needs assessment, competency development and management, curriculums of the Academies, and the like.
  • Partners with clients and customers in the identification; facilitation; and design of solutions to improve operational performance through training delivery; quality; and instructional design services.
  • Proactively partners with clients and internal customers to identify learning and development needs of LOBs and support groups.
  • Identifies strengths and/or gaps in the business to propose 70-20-10 learning and development initiatives that could impact desired business results; and using multi-platform methodologies such as e-learning, social learning, micro learning, gamification, and the like.
  • Gains buy in from business and support leaders for proposed solutions.
  • Work with the University’s administrative officer in relation to the Unit’s administrative and office needs.
  • Recommend learning innovation initiatives/ programs to continually upgrade skills and programs of the University.
  • Research emerging industry trends, new technologies, concepts and techniques to update current training curriculum as appropriate

CAREER DEVELOPMENT:

  • Help design career development programs for assigned account in collaboration with LOB managers and Human Resource ensuring adequate acquisition of both technical, organizational and leadership competencies for the trainees.
  • Assist line function in identifying "high potentials" and develop "fast track" programs for their career development.
  • Keep intimate contact with the trainees to ensure necessary progress and resolution of issues impeding development
  • Maintain a career development database of trainee development plan process
  • Help develop assessment tools and support mechanisms for development program trainees
  • Suggest suitable future career positions for high potentials based on assessment results and developmental assignments

Minimum Qualifications

  • Depth in curriculum design, execution, training needs assessment, competency identification and development, learning evaluation, learning methodologies, blended learning methodologies, and innovative learning and development methodologies
  • Experience in performance consulting – the consulting cycle, performance solutions, needs analysis, diagnosis, identification and development of learning interventions, and evaluation of results
  • Depth in Adult Learning principles; solid working knowledge of adult learning theory and teaching techniques
  • Familiarity with learning technologies and innovation; strong interest in research, benchmarking, and networking
  • At least 5-year experience in the Training and OD field
  • At least 3-year experience in a training manager/ training director/ training executive capacity directly handling clients
  • Familiar with HR processes and interventions
  • Hands on experience in curriculum design and execution
  • Certifications in OD, leadership, management and coaching are strongly preferred
  • Strong project management skills, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong platform and facilitation skills
  • Excellent oral communication, presentation, writing and editing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to influence laterally and vertically
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and peers to deliver business results
  • Resilience and flexibility
  • Preferably with experience in an organization with a creative culture
