Job Description
As a Elasticsearch Database Engineer at Aozora, you'll be responsible for the following:
- Developing and managing databases for clients (Elasticsearch on Google Cloud/AWS/Alibaba Cloud)
- Assisting with data modelling and schema development
- Developing data input pipelines across variety of client tools via standard SOAP/REST APIs
- Developing data output pipelines to web applications, ensuring low latency, real-time data transfer
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year experience with Elasticsearch
- Java experience preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of data modeling, including ER & dimension modelling
- Working experience with Google Cloud or AWS
- Working knowledge of standard web data formats such as XML & JSON
- Strong ability and interest to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Basic English speaking fluency
- Working knowledge of relational databases (such as SQL) and MongoDB/Cassandra is preferred but not required
