Job Description
- Receives and performs daily job instruction/s from his supervisor on priority task and carries on the instruction. Follows the procedures and work instructions in the performance of the assigned task.
- Informs his supervisor immediately of any problem/s that may encountered in the performance of the assigned task. Coordinates with other personnel who are directly and indirectly concerned with the assigned task. Prepares project studies and project status reports. Coordinates with the design engineer with regard to fixtures, gages and tools lay-out
- Maintains good housekeeping in working area. Utilize safety gadgets to prevent accidents and follows safety precautions to prevent occurrence of accidents. Checks machines and makes sure they are in good condition for production use. Set-up and operates machines to test new designs. Debugs new machines prior to production use. Specifies machine and tools required for new product.
- Prepares lay-out, details, part drawings, POS, PIS and other drafting assignments.
- Occasionally design tools such as tools, gauges, cutters or machine parts.
- Updates and revises part drawings, POS and other Engineering documents.
- Prepares monthly accomplishment reports
- Performs other assignments that may be given from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Drafting Technology or other related field.
- With at least 1-3 years experience as draftsman
- Exposure to mechanical drawing is a must
- Must be proficient in CADD
- Preferably worked in manufacturing industry
- Can communicate well in written and verbal, both in Filipino and English Language
