Job Description
Major Function:
The main responsibility of the Process and Vendor Manager is to oversee a wide variety of vendor activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Should plan, organize, and manage operational plans and support his/her subordinates to meet department goals and objectives to achieve efficiency and effectivity.
- Should monitor and forecast budget allocation and level of demand for products, supplies, and materials in different Departments especially in supplying the needs in the Production.
- Support the company increase profits by dealing with sustainability, risk management and ethical issues through effective negotiation and management.
- Forecast levels of demand for services and productions
- Compare between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
- Plan and evaluate the performance of assigned staff, establish performance measures and personal development goals
- Monitor performance and provide coaching to staff for improvement and development.
- Participate in developing and monitoring performance against annual operating budget
Minimum Qualifications
- Earned a bachelor degree in a related area such as Business or Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing
- Highly skilled in SAP software or related purchasing system/software.
- With at least 5 years vendor management experience
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and process management required
- Proven history of developing effective vendor operations, financial and people management policies, required
