Job Description
- Maintain and improve services to achieve low latency and high availability
- Create monitoring and alerting system and then perform monitoring system to detect problems, conduct post-incident review, and plan system capacity
- Conduct Monthly, Quarterly system performance review of overall system
- Lead, automate and operate our platforms and make them more reliable, stable, and scalable as our usage grows and technology transformed.
- Efficiently handle live production incidents, liaise with SoC team to debug/troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, follow and implement SRE best practices.
- Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalabillity
- Perform root cause analysis of reliability issues
Minimum Qualifications
- Majored in Computer Science, or related field, from reputable university
- Minmum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role with SRE and DevOps focus.
- System architecture and design experience including but not limited to some of the following topics (will be tested):
- Networking (HTTP 1.1/2, TCP/IP, DNS etc.)
- Scalling and auto-scaling - Micro-services, DDD (Domain Driven Design)
- RPC (REST, Thrift, ProtoBuf, etc)
- Asynchronous I/O
- Virtualization
- Infrastructure Automation
- RDBMS (MySQL, etc)
- NoSQL (HBase, Cassandra, etc)
- Distributed Cache (Redis, etc)
- Distributed Transaction
- Have strong interest and ability to perform Heap/Thread dump to review the system's performance
