Job Description

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Information Systems Group (ISG) Manager, the position is responsible for gathering data regarding the goals and methods used in existing processes, identify bottlenecks in procedures and facilitate the process of identifying user requirements for information systems. The position will also be assigned in the upgrade of the AISIS project.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Integrated Systems Architecture

Understands the University Integrated System Architecture
Creates program specifications
Defines systems requirements
Conducts user trainings

2. Performs the following functions within a supervised environment:

Identifies systems solutions to enhance the productivity of users
Presents prototype or paper design to users to gain feedback and buy-in
Designs databases, assuring the reliability, integrity and availability of data
Coordinates with Project Managers regarding client request
Provides support for ad hoc administrative reports

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related course
With at least 2 years work experience in Systems Development/Software Engineering
With trainings/relevant experience on:

a) Basic Systems Analysis Tools

b) Basic Programming Tools
