- Work with both internal and external brokers to prepare applications for loans by requesting and processing relevant forms and supporting documents
- Provide technical support for loan structuring and train junior loan officers
- Assist brokers with loan structuring and selecting a suitable lender
- Package applications, complete Final Approval Notes and submit applications to lenders
- Update internal CRM to update data, stats of the application, and filing
- Liaison between lenders and brokers to fulfill outstanding conditions for formal approval
- Adhere to company risk and compliance policies and procedures when performing the tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Loan Officer with experience in dealing with multiple Australian lenders/banks
- Solid understanding of AML-CTF, Privacy Act, NCCP & Responsible Lending
- In-depth knowledge and skills to assess and packaging complicated applications such as self-employed, company/trust borrowing structure
- Intermediate/high level of competency in Microsoft and Apply-on-line
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict KPI’s & SLA’s
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus
- Resilience, reliability and integrity
- BS degree in finance, economics or a related field
