Job Description
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create SEO optimized contents for blogs and landing pages
- Do counterchecking on other articles crafted by external writers to ensure the company's best SEO practices were being followed before publishing
- Continuously provide article improvement initiatives and strategies
- Administer competitor research to further improve existing SEO content
- Produce informative premium content like ultimate guides and long-form blog posts
- Edit all content from external writers before publishing to maintain quality and SEO best practices
- Enhance SEO content through competitor research, understanding search intent, and web writing tactic
- Read up on the latest trends to continuously innovate on the types of content created
Minimum Qualifications

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (12:00 AM - 9:00 AM PHT)
Qualifications
Personal Attributes:
- Has the ability to understand business and the ability to write compelling content in a timely manner.
Practical Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, English, or Journalism
- Proven work experience as an SEO Content Writer (minimum of 6 years experience is required)
- Working knowledge of SEO and best SEO practices when writing
- Solid understanding of business
- Demonstrated ability to research and write about virtually any small business and topic (as evidenced in a portfolio) and capture the voice of different brands through your writing.
- Curiosity around marketing
- Can write quality, well-researched content and has the ability to grasp a topic and understand a business
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and other CMSs like Squarespace, Wix, and Shopify
- Can write quality, well-researched content fast - not just in words per minute, but in the ability to grasp a topic and understand a business
- Ability to adapt to company core values
Minimum System Requirements
- CPU: Intel® Core i5 or a faster processor
- Memory: 8 GB or more of RAM (16 GB recommended)
- Internet Speed: At least 25 Mbps
- With webcam for client-facing calls and meetings
