Job Description
- Develops technical aspects on the details of the buyer’s orders for production.
- Translates in English what could be in Chinese as details.
- Communicates in the Chinese language with global and other buyers from Hongkong on possible issues before the whole order is loaded in the production floor for possible revisions, deletions and addition in the process.
- Revises the Chinese computerized booking system for all small and big accessories needed for the orders as necessary.
- In charge of planning related to the merchandising approach on trims, accessories and others items.
- Responsible on actively discussing with foreign buyers the technical aspects of the orders and the factory’s approach to produce and deliver the orders.
- Ensure that the clients are comfortable with the Chinese speaking partners in the production floor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Matriculated with technical institution training in textile / clothing technology or related disciplines or equivalent professional qualification;
- At least 8-10years’ experience in garment manufacturing, solid merchandiser job knowledge & background for Woven product is highly preferred;
- Good command of written & spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English;
- Strong computer and database skills
- Able to work independently with internal and external parties at all levels;
- Strong ability to follow-through, understanding of technical terms.
- Willing to work in Clark, Pampanga and travel inland and abroad
