Job Description
- Prospecting for potential partnerships and opportunities to grow or enable CIMB (acquisition and infrastructure partnerships).
- Working on key strategic projects, creating new revenue streams with significant business impact.
- Uses strategic thinking skills in leveraging data to enable new business strategies.
- Establishing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with partners.
- Execute partnership activities by working with internal and partner groups such as compliance, legal, products, technology, and marketing.
- Approach the partnership and business development role with the mindset of a number.
- Measure, analyze, and develop insights on all partnership activities.
- Optimize all partnership efforts and results.
- Ensure all CIMB partners adhere to specified SLAs and BCP practices.
- Negotiate and execute with finesse all contracts with partners.
- Conceptualize opportunities and map out all customer journeys, flows, and touchpoints.
- Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the banking, Fin-Tech, and financial services space
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in a business development or retail banking role.
- Highly knowledgeable with technology, retail banking, and sales concepts.
- A wide breadth of business experience is a plus.
- Must be a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to be proactive and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
