Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Designs test cases, create and maintain automation to ensure the system under development meet minimum company standards and end-user requirement n and manual scripts.
- Execute scripts and analyze failures in test execution, record observations and results.
- Partner with developers on a fast-paced team to drive the QA efforts, supporting several applications to identify and resolve defects.
- Develop test plan, test cases and other QA documents.
- Work with other IT application teams as well as the business teams responsible for user acceptance testing to determine test environment requirements.
- Ensure successful deployment of new functionality for each release.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in BS IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineer or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance .
- Has a strong understanding of testing methodologies – integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, smoke testing, performance testing, automation testing, user acceptance testing, etc)
- Hands-on experience in API and UI Automation frameworks & tools such as NUnit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, etc.
- Experience with Agile software development process.
- Experience with performance testing.
- Extensive experience with mobile testing, and automation testing
- Experience with testing products on any of the following technologies: Java, .NET, SQL, XML, web services
- Ability to triage failures, identify root-cause, and define corrective actions.
- Ability to set priorities and undertake complex tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience with testing products on different technologies: Java, SQL, XML, web services.
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City (onsite and hybrid)
