Job Description

CLEAR Corporate Solutions is seeking for Afterhours Consultant who will work with CLEAR’s client, an Australian-based labour hire firm. Our client helps companies in varied industries with managed labour and staffing solutions.

The role is to support our client’s Australian operations after the close of business hours, requiring efficient and sensitive management of inbound communication and liaising with internal staff, candidates and clients.

Daily tasks:

  • Liaise in a professional and timely manner with branch consultants
  • Contact and place candidates pursuant to branch consultants' requests
  • Communicate with the labour hire firm’s clients and branch consultants on job orders, absences, tardiness and replacement of candidates
  • Assist the labour hire firm’s clients with their job requests
  • Ensure the client’s database is always updated
  • Update clients on confirmed candidates and those requiring replacement
  • Create placements, update client cards and candidate cards
  • Do outbound call to look for available candidates to fill vacant orders
  • Cancel candidates per branch consultants' requests
  • Complete candidate confirmations for client rosters
  • Complete candidates' availability checks to assist branch consultants to prepare rosters
  • Respond to candidates’ pay queries.
  • Assess resumes and book interviews as required
  • Screen candidates to assess suitability for job orders
  • Conduct reference checks of candidates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Open to shifting schedule (mid or night shift - with Night Diff), working on weekends & holidays (paid holiday), covering teammate's shift
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, particularly Excel & Outlook
  • Strong phone handling skills
  • Fast learner and highly trainable

  • Highly trainable in new skills and software
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines
  • Experience handling Australian account or awareness of Australian business culture
  • Flexibility to perform other relevant tasks as required by the client
