Job Description

An Afterhours Consultant supports our clients' Australian operations after the close of business hours. CLEAR Corporate Solutions' client is an Australian-based labour hire firm, which helps companies in varied industries with managed labour and staffing solutions.

As an Afterhours Consultant, you will virtually manage inbound calls and emails for the client, perform all associated admin tasks and accomplish below tasks to ensure that the team efficiently delivers.

  • Coordinating with the client and recruitment consultants on job requests, absences, tardiness and replacement of candidates (registered, enrolled, assistant nurses)
  • Contacting available candidates (nurses or assistant nurses) to fill vacant orders or requests
  • Creating placements, updating client cards and candidate cards
  • Contacting and placing candidates pursuant to recruitment consultants’ requests
  • Updating clients on confirmed candidates and those requiring replacement
  • Canceling candidates pursuant to recruitment consultants’ requests
  • Completing candidate confirmations for schedule plotting
  • Assisting recruitment consultants in a professional and timely manner
  • Completing candidates’ availability checks to assist client or recruitment consultants to prepare roster (plotting shifts)
  • Screening resumes to assess suitability and scheduling one-on-one interviews by the recruitment consultant
  • Conducting reference checks of candidates
  • Responding to pay queries
  • Updating the client’s database and completing hand-over before end of shift.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Can work from Saturday to Tuesday, mid or night to an early morning shift (maximum 30hours per week)
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, esp. Outlook & Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email management
  • Willingness to serve as an "on call" staff to work on holidays or cover for teammate's shift
  • Awareness of Australian business culture is a plus
  • With fit to work medical certificate upon completion of the Pre-Employment Medical Exams with drug test

Essential Attributes

  • Strong call-handling experience with multi-tasking skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail with proactive mindset
  • Technologically adept and a fast learner (for new skills and software)
  • Highly adaptable to complete other tasks required by the client

Minimum IT requirement to effectively Work from Home (temporarily, until further notice- tentatively after mid next year):

  • At least 10mbps internet speed, preferably on a postpaid plan
  • Windows 10 Pro OS
  • 4GB RAM
  • 500GB HDD
  • 720p resolution Webcam
  • Noise cancelling headset

CLEAR may provide the PC set-up to NCR or near NCR-residing employees who met the min. internet speed.
