Job Description
- Web Design - Clean business type of designs suitable for corporate feel and company aesthetics.
- Web Development - CMS Platform built-in WordPress, customizing premium themes or coding custom theme from scratch with boilerplate for rapid (dry) development. WP Multi-site setup. Setting up Child themes. Responsive Theme functionality for tablet, mobile phone user experience.
- Website Performance - Test and optimize page loading speed. Use tools to speed up, minify, and optimize scripts / codes. Google Page Insight, Pingdom tools.
- Webmaster - Maintain website, WP updates & upgrades. Secure website from Intrusion. Setup monitoring, firewall for WP sites. Setup Google Analytics & Google Search Console.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of web development experience, preferably in an agency environment.
- Demonstrated experience of working on medium to large web projects.
- Demonstrated ability with WordPress, HTML, CSS - including transforms and animations-, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON/XML, and PHP.
- Experienced converting Figma web design into custom WordPress themes.
- Experience with Advanced Custom Fields, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce and WPML plugins.
- Experience integrating 3rd party API’s such as SalesForce, Xero, Stripe, PayPal, Square, and ASX with WordPress.
- Experience with version control software (Git) in a team environment.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent at time management and a hardworking attitude with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong appreciation of design and code quality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile project management is a plus.
- A love for working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with technologists, designers, and strategists.
- Enjoyment in mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge with others
