Job Description
You will be working closely with the commercial team in NZ.
The major focus of your role is to meet QS requirements for upcoming and on-going projects with regards to measurement. (Ideally familiar with Cost X software).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding fire report requirements and specification.
- Assisting with new tender’s
- Measurement and production of tender summaries.
- Producing list of tags and clarifications with reference to Tender.
- Comparing drawings – Tender version vs revised construction set and producing quantified changes
- Managing multiple projects at the same time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor and familiar with measurement
- A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Good English and able to communicate clearly through both video conference and email.
- Familiar with Cost X measurement software – nice to have, open to similar software (Cubit, PlanSwift)
- Experience working with Australian or New Zealand projects
