Job Description
The Internal Audit Supervisor will be a member of the Internal Audit team with a goal to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of the Company’s internal controls, risk management and governance.
The objectives of internal audit supervisor are:
- To conduct and supervise the regular, spot and special audit engagements as indicated in the audit plan.
- To ensure that the different audit reviews and procedures of the IA Department are in accordance with the sound internal auditing standards such as the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and other supplemental standards issued by the regulatory authorities and government agencies, as well as the relevant code of ethics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and document the business operations, and relevant processes and controls
- Aid the internal audit manager and head in developing and implementing the Annual Audit Plan
- Conduct and directly supervise the audit team in the conduct of the regular, spot or special audit engagements
- Conducts initial evaluation and recommend changes in scope, direction, resource allocation and timetable of audit engagement
- Sets and conducts initial and exit meeting
- Monitor the status of the action plan
- Prepares and reviews the audit working papers
- Prepares the initial and final audit reports and reviews IAR/FAR made by audit team members.
- Present the audit findings that require attention or escalation to concerned units.
- Prepare and update the audit program
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Internal Audit, preferably with professional qualification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE)
- At least 3 years of experience in external or/and internal audit in the Financial Services Industry. Audit experience in Fintech will be an advantage.
