Jr. Business Analyst  

Overall Purpose of the Role:

Jr. Business Analyst responsibilities include working with project teams and business analysts in reviewing, analyzing and evaluating end user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in determining objectives by studying product functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• Assist in workflow charts and diagrams; studying product capabilities; writing specifications
• Improve product by studying current practices; designing modifications
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
• Assist in interpreting, evaluating and interrelating research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current products using metrics and reports
• Understand and communicate the impact of any changes
• Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant product trends and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years proven work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Understanding of full product life cycle
• Good knowledge in reporting, Python and SQL data skills
• Data analysis relating to app and web performance
• Good knowledge of project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business, Science, Math or relevant field
