Job Description
- Preparation of the specific project quality assurance plan, Inspection and test plans, Check sheets and related procedures.
- Implementation of the Quality Assurance Programme for the project.
- Give direct guidance to the Construction Manager with regard to daily in-house inspections.
- Coordinating with Office Engineer for Materials submittals.
- Coordinating with Project Engineers for approval of RFI.
- Conduct trials/mock-up.
- Controlling all inspection activities on site.
- Ensuring all materials delivered to site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.
- In-house inspection of all the construction activities on site.
- Review the entire Request for Witnessing for all sub-contractors ensuring that the work is completed as per the Contract Specification and drawings.
- Submission of Request for Inspection for any type of work and activity to the consultant.
- Completion of necessary documents to verify the work performed.
- QC Engineer can override Project execution team when implementing site quality control and assurance and has the power to stop construction activities until remedial measure have been taken to ascertain quality requirements.
- Report to the Project Manager any deficiencies in the operation of QA System.
- Assisting calibration and load-test records.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferably licensed Engineer.
- At least three (3) years related experience in construction planning activities
- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity;
- Creative, forward thinker.
- Coaching and leadership skills
- Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
- Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- A reliable professional who follows organization and department procedures, completes tasks in a timely manner.
- Must be amenable to work at ATIMONAN, QUEZON
