Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for reviewing business processes and expenses to maintain long-term financial security. He or she will engage in financial analysis such as forecasting, budgeting, cost reduction analysis and reviewing operational performance. This position requires excellent foundational knowledge and experience in finance/accounting and a firm understanding of financial concepts.

  • Manages the efficient day-to-day accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of accounting data recording
  • Ensures timely and accurately compliance to all government reports, taxes and licenses of local government
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of monthly and annual financial statements and application, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and other correspondence as required
  • Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Responsible in monthly close process, performs monthly billings and allocations, prepares journal entries, and ensures accounts payable payment process are managed effectively
  • Supports the business in maximizing revenue and profitability through timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis and forecasting
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure open and clear communication regarding all financial matters
  • Checks and approves check vouchers and other financial documents
  • Monitors spending against budget, develop cost control and reduction strategies
  • Manage external relationships-auditors, tax authorities, banking, and other government authorities
  • Responsible to process business permit renewal/retirement and government clearances/permits
  • Provides resolution of finance/accounting related issues/concerns
  • Provide leadership and drive for quality and accuracy at all times
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time not mentioned generally above

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate of Bachelors of Science in Accountancy, Finance, Banking or equivalent
  • Candidate must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Preferably Manager-Level specialized in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
  • Must have at least Five (5) years of professional working experience and proven track record and high performance as Finance Professional
  • Excellent level of competence in taxation and bookkeeping, payroll, accounting software, and system
  • Excellent skills in excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook
  • Strong knowledge and experience in tax and audit, financial planning, and forecasting, financial accounting, risk and controls
  • Excellent communication skills particularly in regard to presenting the results of the analysis to management
  • Must have the highest degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Well organized and able to manage a high volume of workload
  • Ability to multi-task with a high degree of analytical proficiency and integrity
