As a Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (e.g., Amazon Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, and Amazon CloudFront). Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement with client and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform; and being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.

As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our clients with a world class business development team. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community. You will gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Passionate in AWS Cloud technologies
• Strong communication, presentation skill; outspoken and verbally capable to communicate your thoughts/ideas clearly and precisely
• Able to consult clients and determine their needs with technical details
• Experience with design/implementation/consulting distributed applications, or perform system administrator role for infrastructure service such as server, storage, network and database
• Experience in software development life cycle, waterfall and agile approach is a plus
• Experience in application architecture, infrastructure architecture, database architecture or networking is a plus
• Technical degree required; Computer Science background highly desired.
• Fresh-graduate with strong technical background will also be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification owner will be an advantage
• Experience in enabling DevOps, Cloud adoption, backup and DR on the cloud.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of the AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals.
• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
• Strong written communication skills.
• High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organization
