Multimedia Artist  

Get to know the role :

A Multimedia specialist will supervise investment activities and shall assist in developing multimedia products aimed at entertaining and educating audiences. The role is also essential in profit-maximizing strategies to accelerate the financial performance of the company. Working closely with the VP for Operations, the Multimedia specialist shall ensure that the company’s print and digital collateral designs are of high quality, as well as perform and manage creative projects needed for the company’s publicity materials and operations.

Job Description:

People:

• Pitches ideas through regular brainstorming sessions with the Marketing team fit for Editorial and Branded content
• Works cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (eg. product and sales teams) and external stakeholders (i.e. suppliers) in the production process

Product:

• Conceptualizes, processes, and produces audio, video, animations, and interactive multimedia collateral for a variety of audiences, platforms, and outcomes
• Manages and stores multimedia assets

Profit:

• Ensures visual content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style and quality
• Creates visual requirements including, but not limited to, blog images, social media posts, GIFs, keyframes for motion graphic videos, illustrations, logos, branding materials, and event collateral for Editorial and Branded requirements
• Spearheads end-to-end production process, regardless if done in-house or outsourced
• Responsible for being part of the art direction and content production for branded projects

• Establish the company’s branding through creative and engaging visual projects and content

• Must have attached Portfolio
• Highly creative, efficient with time and resources, and can balance client feedback with editorial oversight
• Well-versed in a variety of audiences (Millennial, GenZ, Gen Alpha, Parents) culture and trends
• Passionate about education
• Team player, detail-oriented, fast learner, and has a strong sense of responsibility
• Background in advertising, media, or production is required
• Must have a demo reel and/or portfolio
• Driven by a fast-paced environment and enjoys building processes from the ground up
• Versatile to changes (internal and external changes), and be able to respond to them by having a plan that can be implemented quickly
• Self-starter with a startup mindset that is willing to go the extra mile to do things, has the desire to learn and challenge the existing conditions
• Has a logical and creative mindset
• Possess positive attitude, sound judgment, and top-level professionalism

Technical Skills:

• Possess graphic design, typography, video, and multimedia development skills
• Creating multimedia designs in liaison with animators, programmers, writers, video producers, sound engineers and artists
• Apply experience and knowledge: with best practices to create accessible web sites and multimedia collateral
• Knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), and optimized content writing best practices
• Willingly, effectively and proactively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, supervisors and stakeholders
• Must be familiar with current digital best practices and be able to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Knowledge about developing and implementing communication and marketing plans
• Ability to provide effective customer-service and to actively listen and appropriately respond to colleague, stakeholder and supervisor needs/requests
• Possesses social perceptiveness and orientation to facilitate diverse, inclusive and culturally sensitive working and learning environments to serve global audiences
