Job Description
- The Legal Associate shall be primarily responsible for carrying out housekeeping duties such as preparation, drafting, and review of various corporate documents, contracts, and correspondences;
- Assist the Operations Department in handling litigation matters, including the preparation and filing of pleadings in courts, quasi-judicial and regulatory agencies;
- Prepare summaries of factual findings, investigations and legal reports assigned by the Operations Department;
- Provides legal assistance in offering legal solutions/advices to the company;
- Represents the company in meetings with third parties and government agencies that discuss various issues involving the company;
- Represents the company on SENA (DOLE) mandatory hearings and mediation conferences;
- Answering queries on labor-related issues and prepare compliance reports required by DOLE.
- Conduct all these duties with the highest degree of responsibility, commitment, integrity, dependability and customer service orientation.
- Performs other related tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Operations Department from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law; A member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
- At least one (1) year of relevant working experience, fresh bar passer areencouraged to apply;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proactive in problem solving and has the ability to work under own initiatives;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving;
- Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced setting;
- Able to handle multiple tasks independently with minimum supervision;
- Working knowledge of Labor Laws and Regulations;
- Willing to work in BGC, Taguig
