Job Description
Overview:
We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our software development team in Alabang, Muntinlupa, to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business requirements gathering and documentation through Agile Jira tasks and stories or through business specification documents in Confluence.
- Assist team in the development of business requirements through:
- Coordination with SMEs (ex. Business or Product Owners, End Users) and other stakeholders (ex. Vendors, Development streams) on requirements and expected deliverables.
- Analysis of new requirements and modifications to existing systems to meet stakeholder requirements.
- Interact with other business analysts for initiatives that require work from multiple development streams.
- Ensure the completion of a business or functional requirements specification with inputs from developers and/or architects.
- Assist in the identification of potential solutions to business-related issues through analysis and business knowledge.
- Act as liaison for interpreting data, answering questions, and resolving problems as required in projects to be handled.
- Ensure that assigned project activities or tasks are estimated with the development team, delivered on time and are meeting the agreed requirements.
- Work closely with Business or Product Owner/s regarding prioritization of roadmap or product backlog items.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in both SDLC and Agile development environments.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as Business Analyst in an Software Development Company
- Training and experience on Agile Scrum from previous function preferred
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Team player and must be able to adapt and solve problems with team quickly under pressure
