Job Description
We are seeking for a talented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and report to the QA Manager. The position will carry out extensive hands-on testing work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write test cases
- Execute test cases and document results for test case execution
- Create positive and negative scenarios
- Execute test with the given instruction
- Bug reporting - Able to report found defects in a clear, concise, and complete manner
- Bug replication - Able to replicate and investigate client's reported issues
- Follow QA Process
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines
- Verify fixes in a detailed, efficient, and timely manner
- Perform functional, regression and browser compatibility testing
- Utilize effective time management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensure that the software meets the original design specification
- Suggest and help implement process improvements both within the QA group
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Computer Science/ BSIT
- With 1-2 year work related experience
- SQL knowledge for Backend Testing
- Familiar with different bug tracking tools such as TFS, JIRA, Unfuddle, Liquid Planner, Bugzilla, etc.
- Different testing experience is a plus
- Familiar with cross-platform, multi-browser issues
- Knowledgeable of different types of testing
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Must have good command in written and spoken English
- Can work under pressure
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic and diverse working environment
