Job Description
The Communications Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s overall communications strategy, including marketing and communications of the organization’s brand, products and services, and is likewise responsible for the implementation and execution of related activities in support of the marketing communications strategy. The Communications Officer is also responsible for outlining a product/ service campaign/brand's visual characteristics. The CO also keeps up with the latest social and cultural trends, and is responsible for the visuals, aesthetics, and artistic aspects of the assigned projects to ensure alignment with the message, audience target, execution, and strategy of the campaigns.
Integrated Communications Campaigns
Designs, develops and implements external (business/ revenue-generation related) and internal (HR, inter-departmental) communications programs aimed at ensuring alignment towards the achievement of the company’s annual goals
Product Launch and Sustaining Campaign Development and Executions
Applies various communications strategies to create an impression, raise an awareness, or encourage a preference and response by the target audience
Creatives and Support for Content Management and Special Projects
Supports in content development and responsible for crafting and distributing helpful, relevant content for an identified audience. Content could be in the form of blog articles, newsletters, infographics, videos, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Marketing/ Fine Arts/ Mass Communication or other related fields
- A Masters Degree in similar fields is an advantage
- At least 5-7 years of work experience in Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts or Graphics design or related fields
- Must be creative, with good communication skills, and with good time management skills
