Job Description
- Responsible for planning and product delivery of one or more engineering teams
- Responsible for the scalability, availability and performance of the products and services of the supervised team
- Responsible for the technology vision, system design and product and service architecture of the supervised team
- Mentoring younger engineers to instill engineering best practices
- Work closely with cross-division teams to achieve company goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven have managed teams that have shipped and operated critical infrastructure
- Have built secure server infrastructure that has scaled on AWS or other cloud providers
- Have at least 5 years of engineering experience with proven management wins
- Thrive on autonomy and have proven can push towards a goal by ownself
- Able to communicate well across teams
- Bonus points if have built payments infrastructure before
