Job Description
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of all network, telecommunication and data center systems
- Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and ensure that it is operating properly
- Serve as primary contact for all servicing of computers, printers, etc
- Maintain all hardware and software logs updated as per departmental working procedures
- Maintain the documentation of all hardware configuration and inventory
- Carry out the repairs and maintenance of all PCs, printers, telephones, interactive system, key lock system, etc.
- Provides guidance on issues & follows escalation procedures
- Respond to all users request and provide them with adequate support
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess a Bachelor’s /College degree in I.T. or Computer Science or Computer Engineer or its equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of information technology theory, principles and practices.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, local and wide area network systems.
- Knowledge of client/server network protocols and Internet/Intranet applications.
- Knowledge of network security requirements and disaster recovery procedures.
- Knowledge of training methods, techniques and procedures.
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
