GDS Link Asia is looking for a Senior Software Analyst who will be working as part of our Asia Delivery Team. The role will require you to learn our company’s proprietary tools with the purpose of building risk management software solutions (Credit Lending Systems, Loan Origination Systems, Appraisal, Credit Investigation, etc.) for financial institutions around the South East Asian region. And aside from learning our platforms, you will also be tasked with managing projects and leading development teams.

As a Senior Software Analyst, you should have significant experience with the Software Development Cycle, Systems Analysis and Design, Project Management, and should be able to handle client interaction very well.

This role will also require a mastery of the English language and the ability to communicate well with clients and partners both local and abroad.

Responsibilities include:

• Configuring client-specific systems using our proprietary development tools (DataView 360, Decision Studio, and CASECenter)
• Providing clients with level of effort and other estimates based on requirements provided and/or gathered
• Writing documentation such as Business Requirements and Functional Specification documents
• Creating project plans and work breakdown structures
• Attending on-site meetings and regular conference calls
• Developing and maintaining test plans and ensuring projects adhere to the company’s standards of excellence
• Training new personnel when the need arises

Working knowledge and experience with the following:

• Graduate of Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other computer-related course
• 3 years of experience as a senior developer, Software Analyst, and/or Project Manager
• Software Development Life Cycle, Systems Analysis and Design, Business Analysis, and Project Management
• MUST: Java, Javascript and jQuery, SQL, CSS
• OPTIONAL: Lua, Ruby, Jasper Reports, XML, JSON, C#
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
