Campaign Manager  

This is a key role within a new company, with plenty of head room to grow. We are looking for an ambitious youth leader who will help us take the work we do to the next level. The Campaign Manager has the unique opportunity to execute HOPEx’s mission to be the first and leading substantial plastic offset company globally. The potential for this role is huge: you will be THE resource person for a number of cross-functional teammates, guiding them on product vision, research, design, industry partnerships, and more.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop new business opportunities – Work with the Managing Director to identify new opportunities with existing clients and business partners, craft and respond to proposals, and follow up on leads to secure plastic offset pledges.
2. Conduct feasibility studies and options assessments – Consult with accounts to understand their present challenges and commitments, collect data, and make recommendations on on plastic offset solutions with cost vs. impact calculations.
3. Manage projects through execution – Lead the project management of the plastic offset platform (both online and offline), continually iterating the mechanism to address our stakeholders’ most important concerns. Advise on finance and governance routes.
4. Assemble a team – This is a growing team. Together with the Managing Director, you will recruit and manage team members directly.
5. Engage new stakeholders – build out network of independent feedstock aggregators and integrate them with the working model

About us

The Plastic Credit Exchange (HOPEx) is a non-profit founded by HOPE and its partners in order to prevent plastic waste from ending up in our oceans, landfills, and food chains. HOPEx takes plastic pledges from companies, and provides them with a way to offset their plastic footprints; that is, credible and verifiable post-consumer plastic removal from our environment. Overseen by a global steering committee, HOPEx maintains 100% transparency in its work.
