Site Manager  

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and organizing the daily site operations to achieve the production target in conjunction with the sales target. Manages employees, production, and efficiency to make sure that plant is running smoothly, quickly, efficiently, and safely.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee operations to ensure safety
2. Develops plans that help operations run smoothly
3. Manages production
4. Identifies and trains potential production/ plant leaders.
5. Facilitates regular meetings with all dept. managers & supervisors for daily activities and goal alignment of the plant.
6. Works/represents with the government or private entities if needed
7. Ensures plant is always a safe work zone and will head the emergency response team and local HSE team
8. Works closely with Engineering and Maintenance plant improvement for major equipment rehabilitation or replacement and Predictive maintenance or Reliability-centered program
9. Communicates and cascades policies and processes implemented in the company.
10. Conducts performance evaluation and gives suggestions for improvement.

1. Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering graduate
2. At least 5 years of experience in operations or plant management of oleum or any chemical Industry.
3. Has significant latitude to make decisions in the operational functions in consultation with Chief Operating Officer.
4. Adequate knowledge of detergent/oleum industry and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources.
5. Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
6. Knowledgeable in safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
7. Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
8. Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
9. Excellent oral, written, and listening skills.
10. Strong organizational and time management skills.
