Full Stack Developer | Data Engineer  

The Full Stack Dev/ Application API Specialist position requires the experience of a full-stack engineer involved in front-end or back-end development, including any associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of three (5) years’ recent experience with all of the skills listed below. Our project entails implementing our pre-approved UI, constructing our API, connecting the two, and setting up our server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of the overall front-end/backend architecture
• “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
• Design and deployment of our database
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Design and construction of our REST API, and/or Web Services
• Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
• Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
• Provides technical expertise, troubleshoots, guides and supports during design, development, testing, production, and post-production
• Understand the source system, capture and document business rules
• Analyze and propose changes to maximize code reusability and maintaining business value
• Provides expert technical knowledge and solutions pertaining to Data integration.
• Identify opportunities to optimize the environment, implement monitoring, quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure compliance to internal standards and guidelines including security.
• Conduct unit testing and component integration testing for solutions developed

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology field or Computer Science or related fields
• Technically strong in API concept, design, and development.
• At least 5-8 years' experience developing medium to large complex Integration solutions using Java
• 5+ years of experience with both hands-on and lead experience in developing applications
• Basic technical experience and business knowledge in various SDLC methodologies including waterfall, iterative, agile software development life cycle or related disciplines/processes are preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing to document data requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Preferably with Java knowledge.

At least five years’ experience with:

• Java programming language
• Writing front-end development (Angular,HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
• Database design and management(both sql and nosql), including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
• Server management and deployment for the relevant environment. Experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Groovy, Docker and Maven
• Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework—both front-end and back-end, if necessary { e.g., Springboot, React, Vue, JHipster or Flask }
• Ideally, familiarity with CSS preprocessors, bundlers, and associated languages/syntaxes/libraries
• Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficiency with Git { or another version control system as required }
• Appreciation for clean and well-documented code
• Experience in UnitTest/Test Driven Development
