Head of Indonesia Marketplace  

Leading the Marketplace team in Indonesia has you leading the reins of the Go-Jek rocketship. You’ll be responsible for leading a diverse and fast-paced org covering how we match supply & demand. This includes our operations around pricing, incentives, marketplace & city health, and much more.

As a leader within Go-Jek, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape Go-Jek’s strategy and direction. Working with key leads within your team, you’ll be responsible for the cross-functional delivery of complex initiatives across our Transportation, Food, Logistics among other areas.

Strong communication skills, experience building and leading teams, and a love of tech & data is required succeed at this role. We’re looking for proven leaders to come and join our teams!

• Team Management - Lead a 10+ person team based in Jakarta pioneering our marketplace strategy, management, and operations. Cover all areas of how our marketplace moves.
• Strategy Shaping - Build, maintain, and communicate a detailed strategy for our business. Write 3, 6, 12 month plans and help your team to do so.
• Champion of Structure & Operations - Refine our operations, improve our systems, and drive excellence in what we do at Go-Jek.
• Build Strong Relationships - Engage and collaborate with other Operation teams, Tech & Product groups, and our senior leadership at Go-Jek.
• Regional Coverage & Communication - Covering Southeast Asia will require strong digital communication (think emails, Whatsapp, web conferencing) and occasional travel.

• Data-Driven Outlook: When making decisions you leverage technical resources and data to support hypotheses. You can take the basics of data and draw insights from it. Life without Excel terrifies you. SQL, R, Python experience is a plus.
• Language: Fluency in business-level English & Bhasa is a must.
• Required Experience: You’ve got prior learnings using data to make decisions, you have a proven track record of building systems and scaling them, you have managed diverse stakeholders with ease.
