Job Description

  • Leading and growing the organisation so that it continues to support the company's use of data in its decision making
  • Strategy-making & future proofing: eg what capabilities are required to deliver the work
  • Coordinating cross-functional collaboration: driving efficiency and efficacy across the BI organization
  • Ensuring the Career & Technical Development of all employees in the Functional Org
  • Own relationships with senior executives
  • Involved in relationships with other senior stakeholders
  • Promotion & Salary Adjustment decisions of all employees in the Functional Org
  • Headcount costs & Performance Evaluation of core employees in the Functional Org
  • Staffing Decisions & Hiring/Firing

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in leading & mentoring teams
  • Demonstrable experience in use of analytics to inform business decisions (in more than one industry)
  • SQL
  • Stakeholder management – senior to junior
  • Nice to have: Organisational and business strategy experience
  • Nice to have: Experience with engineering high volume streaming data pipelines
  • Nice to have: Strong programmatic analytics skills (R, Python, etc)
