Job Description
- Leading and growing the organisation so that it continues to support the company's use of data in its decision making
- Strategy-making & future proofing: eg what capabilities are required to deliver the work
- Coordinating cross-functional collaboration: driving efficiency and efficacy across the BI organization
- Ensuring the Career & Technical Development of all employees in the Functional Org
- Own relationships with senior executives
- Involved in relationships with other senior stakeholders
- Promotion & Salary Adjustment decisions of all employees in the Functional Org
- Headcount costs & Performance Evaluation of core employees in the Functional Org
- Staffing Decisions & Hiring/Firing
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in leading & mentoring teams
- Demonstrable experience in use of analytics to inform business decisions (in more than one industry)
- SQL
- Stakeholder management – senior to junior
- Nice to have: Organisational and business strategy experience
- Nice to have: Experience with engineering high volume streaming data pipelines
- Nice to have: Strong programmatic analytics skills (R, Python, etc)
