What you’ll get up to?

• Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will establish underwirting process and team to improve our decisioning on whom to provide our loans and decrease risk losses.

What fun you’ll have?

• Establish and manage a team of credit underwriters
• Create and maintain credit underwriting policies
• Perform credit evaluation by checking loan documentation, client documents and other data
• Analyze, verify and review loan applications based on credit and underwriting policies and ensurs complete and proper documentation
• Render sound credit decision within bank and regulatory standards and must be able to articulate reasons for the decision and should be able to handle queries on status of the applications and loan process
• Minimize exposure to credit risk and fraud losses while maximizing loan approvals
• Minitor loan and credit performance of applications supported by dail , hourly and adhoc productivity and status reports
• Uphold underwriting, credit, bank and regulatory policies and recommends process improvements and updates on guidelines without sacrificing portfolio quality

Got skills?

• Minimum 2 years managerial experience in loan verifications with 3 years experience in fraud management or credit underwirting
• Advanced knowledge of MS office, especially Excel (pivot tables, function, graphs)
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
