Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily monitoring of Physical server, Virtual server and Storage resources.
- Responsible for leading the installation, setup, roll-out, and maintenance of all Linux based infrastructure projects and operations support activities
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of variety or IT infrastructure and operating systems.
- Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
- Responsible of managing servers (Virtualized and Bare metal)
- Responsible for managing monitoring(zabbix, Elasticsearch Grafana)
- Work together with application and network team for troubleshooting issues
- Provide on-call weekend support for production issues and scheduled work
- Provide 24x7 level-3 support for Linux Servers and VM’s
- Update technical documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an IT related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of linux administration experience in RHEL or CentOs and proficient in shell scripting, creating cron jobs, analyzing log files, managing user accounts and groups, configuring iptables firewall, mounting filesystem and disk partitioning.
- Experience in infrastructure monitoring management (Zabbix, Elasticsearch, Grafana)
- Ability to prioritize and work productively and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Good Understanding about Linux OS environment variable settings.
- Knowledgeable in Virtualization is required (kvm, rhev or ovirt is a plus)
- Experience in Infrastructure as code deploymentt ( puppet, chef , ansible is a plus)
- Ability to find creative solutions to problems and means of improvement
- Able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Flexible & willing to extend working hours, if necessary
- Must be a team player
- Must be willing to work in Eastwood City, Quezon City
