Farms Operations Assistant  

The Honest Farms’ Operations Assistant oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities. He or she works along the production line performing tasks that help assemble and deliver fresh produce and value-added goods toward the customer. The Operations Assistant must adhere to the safety guidelines, efficiency requirements, and ensure that products meet high quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Planning

• Manages customer orders
• Monitors warehouse and stores stocks and replenishes accordingly
• Prepares purchase requests and orders
• Coordinates purchase orders to suppliers
• Maintains and updates master data in ERP
• Prepares and coordinates production and dispatch schedules to Production Helpers

Production

• Receives goods from the Supplier
• Encodes inventory details and other production related records in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• Prepares production reports
• Prepares delivery receipts, transfer orders (TO), and other related documents to ensure on-time and accurate dispatch of goods
• Ensures accurate records of returned or pulled-out items from trade channels

Inventory and Support

• Prepares invoices for payment processing
• Acquires necessary permits from pertinent government agencies
• Ensures accurate inventory of goods
• Conducts regular inventory count of trade and non-trade items
• Monitors, coordinates, and conducts facility and equipment inspection, verification, and validation

Other Activities

• Monitors and reports operational bottlenecks and faulty equipment to the Production Officer or Manager
• Recommends innovative solutions to improve the operations and solve bottlenecks
• Conducts inspection of production line to ensure smooth and hygienic operation
• Maintains hygienic and organized production line
• Performs other functions that may be required by the Operations Officer or Manager in support of the Company’s objectives

• Bachelor's Degree Holder, preferably in Business Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Food Technology, and other related fields
• Preferably at least one-year work experience in FMCG or in meat slaughter and fabrication, fruits and vegetable processing, or warehouse.
