Job Description
- Responds promptly to issues reported by clients, conducting root cause analysis and going through various testing scenarios for thorough resolution within the agreed SLA
- Performs DevOps-related tasks in review and implementation of fixes.
- Provides technical expertise, knowledge, and guidance related to systems and platforms assigned
- Coordinates with other vendors and suppliers when it comes to issue investigation and resolution
- Provides extended assistance to issues related to systems and platforms
- Provides knowledge transfer to relevant teams as needed
- Assists support groups in gathering information needed for investigation
- Conducts peer review of system design related to fixes, if deemed necessary
- Conducts peer review with L2/L3 operational performance, if deemed necessary
- Technical and Process planning with task force and operations teams
- Attends Operational reporting review
- Attend team meetings, huddles, DSU, training, and KT sessions
- Other job-related activities that may be assigned from time to time
- Keeps aware of changing business needs and ensures that current and future service requirements are identified, understood and documented in Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Requirements (SLR)
- Ensures that Service Level Reports are produced and that breaches of SLA targets are highlighted, investigated and actions taken to prevent their recurrence
- Ensures that improvement initiatives are identified, acted on and progress reports are provided to stakeholders
- Orchestrates the resolution of high severity incidents
- Ensures regular management updates are released for the duration of the incident
- Ensures accuracy of formal Incident Report and Root Cause Analysis prior release to stakeholders
- Ensures action items and recommendations are tracked to closure and monitored for effectiveness
- Manage stakeholder escalations and escalated breached SLA for issues raised by the Stakeholder
- Should be able to work with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Technical Skills and Experience Profile:
- Knowledgeable in Unix, Linux, and shell scripting
- Knowledgeable in databases and SQLs
- Knowledgeable in understanding technical workflows
- Capable to perform debugging and troubleshooting by investigating codes and logs
- Experience in L2 or L3 Operations is required
- Experience in creating operational reports and high-level data analysis is required
- Experience in planning and executing coordinated activities is a plus
- Preferably knowledgeable on the SDLC process and/or Agile methodology
- With at least 3 years experience.
