Job Description
- Experience Data Development and SQL, preferably Microsoft-based
- Experience in creating stored procedures and scripts for APIs, Applications, Views, Data Marts and Reports
- Strong in SQL commands and script with the ability to solve highly complex challenges
- Provide assessment and estimation of effort needed based on provided Business request form
- Translate business requirements to technical and database modelling and design
- Source Code documentation
- Advanced technical experience and business knowledge in various SDLC methodologies particularly agile software development life cycle and DevOps
- Coordinate with various support groups to accomplish assigned automated data pipes for development
- Prepare deployment package for endorsement to Release Testing Team which includes Solutions Design Document and Operations Guide
- Provide support during stabilization phase of pipes endorsed to production until declared BAU
- Review and approve builds based on the set framework, standards and best practices.
- Actively participate in the status meeting to communicate progress and escalated risks and roadblocks
- Attend scrum ceremonies
- Participate in brownbag sessions
- Manage and regularly conduct meeting with the users and project team to decide approved specifications and requirements
- Contribute to test plan design and development with the project team
- Assist the QA and project team in preparing the baselined test coverage, test cases, test scripts, and test data and verify the readiness needed for the testing activities
- Prepare training materials and conduct the training to users or other members of the team
- Prepare and monitor progress of the project activities and follow-up and escalate issues and concerns to all concerned parties
- Responsible for complying the information security with the organization by protecting sensitive and confidential information from unauthorized access and taking appropriate measure to manage security risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
- Supervisor/5 Years & Up experienced employee
- Proficient and advance knowledge in SQL commands and relational database, is required
- Familiarity, knowledge, and some experiences with the following is an advantage:
- o business intelligence, ETL data analytic and reporting tools
- o DB management system
- o Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) tools
- o UML Design and diagrams
- o NoSQL and NewSQL
- o Ability to finetune and normalize database scripts design and performance
- o Python and other programming languages
- Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business staff throughout the organization.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing to document data requirements and translate into technical solutions.
