Technical Engineer  

• This role will be responsible for cloud infrastructure service development and integration
• Designing and developing cloud infrastructure release packages that transition into the live production environment
• Continue to automate build and deployment models to improve the cloud infrastructure development agility
• Involve in infrastructure problem diagnosis/resolution
• Identifying optimization opportunities to improve the performance or stability of the cloud infrastructure environment. This includes planning infrastructure recovery and managing serious incidents
• Develop test cases and associated tools to improve the quality of the cloud infrastructure
• Assist with refining business continuity methodologies
• Request logging, categorization, scheduling and execution of any services
  

• 5+ years’ experience in high performance software development with specific experience working with telco cloud infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Java, Python, Pearl strongly preferred, familiar with C and C++
• Hands on experience working with low level network infrastructure
• Knowledge of security standards.
• Experience working with an agile team
• Independent thinker capable of taking a project from concept to delivery
• Awareness of current technology trends with specific focus on virtualized network functions and service orchestration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presents ideas in a clear, concise and constructive manner
• Experience working across organizational teams to understand platform needs and develop a strategic roadmap
• Passionate about open source technology
• Desire for constant learning
