Job Description

In order to contribute to a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability of our offer, with high quality and at lowest possible total cost, we are seeking for Goods Flow Manager who will directly report to In Store Logistics Manager.

YOUR ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Lead, organise and inspire the goods flow team in the store to secure availability, efficient execution of the replenishment process and picking in the store.
  2. Use existing specialist goods flow knowledge and work together with Sales and Supply Support and the commercial team to co-ordinate and optimise goods flow operations in the store. This will result in agreed product availability for customers and the correct quality of the goods flow process at the lowest possible costs.
  3. Contribute with relevant goods flow input and feedback to the store business plan and logistics action plan.
  4. Ensure the agreed logistics actions from the store business plan are implemented in the goods flow process.
  5. Secure the quality of products, merchandising, stock accuracy and customer shopping experience in the store.
  6. Secure correct usage of short- and mid-term capacity needs by creating operating capacity through space optimisation using available working methods and routines.
  7. Work closely with the Sales and Supply Support Manager to secure a common short- and mid-term capacity plan by adjusting the supply to the store in order to maximise efficient logistics operations with the right balance in smooth incoming volume.
  8. Identify, recruit and develop the many talents in the goods flow team to secure succession planning.
  9. Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and thriving IKEA culture that inspires colleagues to reach extraordinary achievements in the store and especially in the goods flow team.
  10. Ensure that the goods flow team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
  11. Secure an efficient goods flow process in the store, including adherence to the Global Service Protocol.
  12. Contribute to the lowest possible costs by addressing root causes and taking actions to correct inefficiencies and find better ways of working.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Experience of working in a retail and/or logistics role, including previous management experience of leading others.
  2. A proven record of successful leadership.
  3. Skilled in retail and/or logistics processes, tools and working methods.
  4. Understand the Global Service Protocol and local appendices relating to transport and delivery.
  5. Understanding of budget, cost and key performance indicators and how to use them to plan, follow up and steer the business.
  6. Business-minded with a clear customer focus.
  7. Show potential to apply tactical and operational thinking.
  8. Experience of setting and implementing action plans and providing clear directions and following up goals.
  9. Ability to meet agreed budgets and goals, and work on plans over a number of years.
  10. Skilled in creating an efficient and cost-effective commercial performance.
  11. Ability to manage operational performance while considering tactical plans.
  12. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English.
  13. Ability to work during early and the late hours of the day.
  14. Analytical and numerical skills.
  15. Willing to work in East Jakarta, Jakarta Garden City.
