IKEA FOOD MANAGER (BANDUNG)  

In order to lead and manage the IKEA Food team and in fulfilling the purpose of its function by building business and people together, we are looking for IKEA Food Manager who will be located on Kota Baru Parahyangan, Kabupaten Bandung Barat and report to our Store Manager.

YOUR ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Ensuring IKEA guests are always in focus and strive to make them smile. Meeting and serving IKEA guests, showing empathy and care. Willing to listen and support them with an attitude based on the IKEA values.
2. Empowering and encouraging IKEA Food team to take immediate action to meet the needs of guests and give input on how to continuously improve the meeting with them.
3. Taking an active part in creating the IKEA store business plan and use the country business plan, based on Growing IKEA together and IKEA Food Direction & Strategy, as input. Working with the matrix to ensure how to work correctly with national and global priorities, as well as local needs, when developing it. Working with the team to develop and implement a clear IKEA Food action plan which is followed up regularly.
4. Having in-depth knowledge of the competition on the local market to support the IKEA store in being the leader in life at home. Using such business intelligence to initiate immediate action when needed and inform the Country IKEA Food Manager of the decisions. Ensuring to have substantially lower prices for each product and for each part of the price and quality ladder in order to enhance the low-price profile of the IKEA store.
5. Securing that the store is always in shape as new in terms of conceptual and commercial standards and with the necessary capacity for growth.
6. Ensuring to have a simple and straightforward internal communication and information flow, and secure that key information is understood by all co-workers.
7. Working actively to make the IKEA store successful and high performing, today and tomorrow in order to attract visitors, achieve sales growth and reasonable profitability, customers and co-worker’s satisfaction as well as excellent operational performance as measured through IKEA defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
8. Operating IKEA Food in accordance with legislation. Being accountable for operating the IKEA Food areas within the IKEA store in accordance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements. Promoting a “safety first” culture where co-workers are encouraged to raise and discuss concerns and solutions. Cooperating with external service providers and authorities when needed.

1. Willing to be located on Kota Baru Parahyangan, Kabupaten Bandung Barat.
2. Extensive and advanced experience of successful commercial, retail management or the role of multi-unit food service manager with proven leadership abilities and strong track-record of managing managers, including management competence.
3. Successful experience of managing a large team in a high-volume retail.
4. Interested in people’s everyday life at home and in home furnishings, food service industry and want to learn about local food culture.
5. Ability to provide clear direction, experience of creating and implementing action plans, setting budgets and meeting and following up on goals.
6. Ability to manage a high-volume and vibrant retail environment and develop people to excellence in performance.
7. Ability to lead change and make things happen. Takes responsibility and can delegate when necessary.
8. Ability to organize, plan and prioritize. Decision-making, problem-solving ability, and tactical thinker.
9. Communicates well with others and able to influence and cooperate with different functions.
10. English communication skills.
11. MS Office literate.
