Job Description

Make sure that MIDI Revenue and Account Receivable are recorded in compliance with IFRS 15 and IAS 18 - Make sure that Reconciliation balance of outstanding Account Receivable and Revenue for MIDI between Revenue Accounting and related division is performed monthly.

Job Scope:

1. MIDI - IFRS Revenue Recognition

Identify the contract(s) for new customer :and any contract modification : new addition services, upgrade/downgrade : increase/decrease bandwidth to existing service, termination of services and early terminate the contract
Identify the performance obligations in the contract
Determine the transaction price and calculate new Transaction Price for contract modifications
Prepare and update the IFRS 15 required data above on Contract Analysis Tools spreadsheet detail per Circuit ID level
etc

2.MIDI - IAS Revenue Recognition

Obtain data billing cycle 1-7 from RBM system and prepare journal entry to SAP system
Update mapping Revenue Code and GL Account in SAP
Ensure all journal accrued has been reversed based on invoice issued in current month
Prepare journal entry for revenue accrual proposed by Billing Revenue Assurance division

3. Amortization

Prepare and record journal amortization for new customer installation and invoiced with termin basis
Prepare divert journal and reclassification journal to revenue

4. Reconciliation between IFRS 15 and IAS 18

Compare Revenue IFRS 15 version with billing to customer/revenue IAS 18 version and prepare Contract Asset and Contract Liability balance per contract
Participate for reconciling revenue IFRS 15 and IAS 18 with Billing Revenue Assurance division
Prepare mutation of Contract Asset and Liability monthly

5. Maintain and Reconciliation balance of outstanding Account Receivable

Monitoring all bank payment for MIDI transaction has been cleared correctly by Billing Collection division in SAP

6. Intercompany with Subsidiaries

Reconcile, coordinate and prepare Berita Acara Intercompany between Indosat with Aplikanusa Lintasarta, Indosat Mega Media, Indosat Singapore, Portal Bursa Data,and Artajas on monthly basis

7. Monthly Reporting and analytical

Review and analyze if there is any abnormal revenue fluctuation for MIDI revenue and obtain explanation from related divisions
Prepare Consolidation Package in relation with all of Account Receivable and Account Payable, Allowance for Bad Debt, Interconnection and Cost of Sales
Prepare Disclosures Report related to AR MIDI, Aging and mutation of Allowance for Bad Debt
etc

8. Team collaboration

Execute and achieve functional goals given by managers
Work co-operatively with other team members to accomplished delegated tasks assigned by managers
Provide support, when appropriate, for the team in cases of absence or unavailability
Provide continuous inputs on business process and systems improvement

Minimum Qualifications

S1 degree in Finance/Accounting from a reputable university
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Accounting, specifically in telecommunication industries.
Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting (SAP) specially in SD Module, spreadsheet and word processing programs and email at a highly proficient level
Strong analytical and an excellence communication skills
Fluent in English both spoken and written
