Job Description
- Responsible for the system selection and functional Solution and Designs in the Radio Network domain including Mobile Radio Network systems (e.g. 2G, 3G, LTE; Macro Network, Microcells, Femtocells, Repeaters, Wi-Fi network, etc
- Translation of the required present and future Radio Network capabilities, as set by the Network Architecture department, into feasible solutions and HLD for the nationwide network, through RF scenario analysis
- Work closely with his Ooredoo Group Radio Network counterparts
- Ensuring that the local requirements of Indosat are taken into account and the right solutions are supported for local use
- Maintain and keep up to date design guidelines and relevant department documentation, in line with the reality to enable information sharing within the team and with other departments
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering
- Minimal 5 years work experience in relevant network solution and design areas and experience in a senior position in relevant network solution and design areas in the mobile industry
- In depth knowledge of GSM, UMTS, WLAN and LTE network principles and design
- In depth knowledge of Radio Access networks features and functionalities
- Good knowledge of / experience with running a RFI/RFQ process & managing external suppliers
- Fluency in English is required
- Strong verbal and written communication is essential
