Job Description

  • Define capacity program definition and alignment with stake holder [NPO, Commercial, Planning, operation, Vendor] and OG until ready for execution.
  • Perform monthly review of traffic vs capacity, identified the gap and define solution.
  • Establish the dashboard for capacity to ensure that we can achieve the requirement target.
  • Monthly capacity program to release the GAP between actual and forecast (demand) including mitigation solution.
  • Support the Network Architecture and Solution teams in various studies;
  • Perform in depth analysis of/calculate Radio Network capacity expansion scenarios (in support of strategic decisions)
  • Produce/provide a Radio Capacity Plan (AOP) programs fulfilling the Commercial and technical requirements;
  • Developing the standard and process of RAN Capacity Management & Roll Out Plan and translate the strategy into action
  • Provide comprehensive report and define suitable action related with RAN Capacity Management & Roll Out Plan to achieve the goal target.
  • Translate the commercial capacity requirement into network capacity requirement; calculate the capacity requirement into program. Review the network capacity for both Site/BTS/Node in order to define the lack of capacity and defining the program and optimization proposal.
  • Review and initiate the program as an input for Radio Design team and Optimization team to ensure that the congestion level in RAN (BTS 2G/3G and 4G) meet the defined target.
  • Perform coordination with other department for improving radio network quality with target is toto achieve of main KPI (increasing of call setup success rate and reducing of call drop rate also reducing of network blocking) for all Indosat Radio Network (2G, 3G, 4G Network) and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop program tracker and maintains for every data modified
  • Coordinate network engineer in term of timely delivered RAN capacity status report
  • Build comprehensive RAN capacity data base (monthly update)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Telecommunication Engineering
  • Minimal 5 years work experience in relevant network solution and design areas and experience in a senior position in relevant network solution and design areas in the mobile industry;
  • Experience in create and define Radio Capacity Plan Program and Roll Out Plan
  • Fluency in English is required;
  • Strong verbal and written communication is essential;
  • In depth knowledge of GSM, UMTS, WLAN and LTE network principles and design;
  • In depth knowledge of Radio Access networks features and functionalities;
  • Good knowledge of / experience with telecommunications principles and practices;
  • Good knowledge of / experience with processes and tooling involved in the planning and operation of mobile networks;
  • Good knowledge of / experience with running a RFI/RFQ process & managing external suppliers
