Job Description
- Meets with problem loan borrowers on a regular basis, monitors financial performance and source of repayment, establishes action plans to correct problem issues, monitors collateral and condition, and provides continuous diligence to mitigate loss exposure.
- Review portfolios, Monitor payment security, borrower behavior, and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
- Develops reporting and recovery management system for migration of accounts and manages delinquency.
- Interacts and works closely with related departments (ie. credit team, legal team) to better secure repayment, equity, or collateral/other assets of the borrower.
- Establish internal SAM policies.
- Develop Recovery Management System and review the implementation plus recommend improvements when necessary.
- Coordinate with internal & legal counsel in dealing with classified accounts to ensure implementation of best legal strategies.
- Explore strategic partnership with collection vendors, proven law firm, and enabler that focuses on maximizing recoveries.
- Makes sure all collection activities have complied with company policies and OJK when contacting or visiting borrowers to collect outstanding.
- Budget for annual expenses of SAM to ensure recovery costs are planned & minimized.
- Identifies areas of the collection process, functional policy & procedures that need improvement, and enhanced processes that will help collection more effectively.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any majors.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Banking or financial industry.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Collection and Special Asset management, handling credit underwritings and SME/corporate portfolio is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical thinking.
- Must have excellent communication, strong negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with stringent monthly deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in English and computer literate. Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
